FCT: NGO DONATES LIBRARIES TO SIX SCHOOLS
Six primary schools benefitted from a donation made by an NGO, and they are: LEA Estate Primary School Gwagwalada, Todler Havens Primary School, LEA Passo Primary School, Ecwa Goodnews Primary School, LEA Primary School Anagada and LEA Primary School Tungamaje.
Speaking during the commissioning of the libraries which was held at the LEA Estate Primary School Gwagwalada, in Abuja, on Tuesday, the Chairman of Afri-Growth Foundation, Ambassador Joe Keshi stated that the purpose of providing the Libraries was to encourage the reading culture among the children.
He advised the pupils to make use of the Library to improve their understanding level of all subjects.
The organisation's Chairman thanked the Australian High Commissioner for their financial support on building the Library.
The representative of Australian High Commissioner Mr. Brian Taglo promised to do more in other areas that would touch the lives of the people.
The Director, FCT Universal Basic Education (UBE) Board, Dr. Adamu Jatau Noma thanked the foundation on behalf of the FCT Minister and stated that the Libraries would be properly utilized.
He challenged the pupils to use the Libraries as a way of enhancing their reading habits.
